Adjust (アジャスト(変更する) Ajasuto, lit, To Alter): is an Emitter Quirk used by the Principal of Valhalla, Hárbarðr Hróðvitnir.

Description[]

A terrifying quirk when used correctly, Hárbarðr possess a quirk that allows him to twist, reshape and alternate any object that comes in contact with him by re-arranging the chemical elements within to something belonging to the same category. This causes him to effectively being able to transform any substance, be it solid matter, gasses or liquids, to something containing a similar form but can be completely different in its interior structure, such as making water into blood or an iron ball into an arrowhead. As the latter would suggest, Hárbarðr is not only able to alter a substance from one thing to another, but also capable of rearranging its shape using the mass and atoms already residing inside the material.

The speed at which this change is undertaken depends on the overall size of the object in contact with Hárbarðr, being merely a second to alternate objects under 100 kg but will take one-second longer for each 100 kg over this limit, with the maximum weight being at 10,000 kg: each second taking a greater toll on Hárbarðr until he's no longer able comply. This is not the case for living creatures however as whilst Hárbarðr is able to alter most substances, including the deceased corpses, he is unable to tamper with anything that is alive with a beating heart. This is also somewhat different when it comes to a substance without a solid form, such as gasses, which can only be adjusted if the material is currently being inhaled by the Principal.
