Aihi Amaterasu (天照 愛妃 Amaterasu Aihi?), also known as the Indigo Princess (藍姫 Aihime?), was a first-year student in I-Island Academy and the former protégée of Melissa Shield. She is the eldest daughter and first-born child of Hana Amaterasu and her husband, Momotarō Amaterasu (né Yaoyorozu) - a famed biochemist.
A mysterious and shadowy ally of Darius Takeyama, she often acts in the interest of Darius' interests, being considered his "personal secretary" in some form by the Knights of Chaos. Having been born Quirkless and having been trained in all manners of technology, Aihi serves as the "person behind the computer monitor" for the Knights of Chaos, and is an honorary member of the Takeyama Family. Aihi is the eldest descendant of the founders of the Amaterasu Family: Kanae Amaterasu, Aasu Tomioka, and Ageha Orimoto (née Tomioka).
In some extreme cases, she serves as the vanguard of the Knights of Chaos and is a member of the groups' Fourth Scouting Division, which handles all scouting missions and facilitates the flow of information from the scouts up to Darius and the heads of the Divisions in the Knights of Chaos. Due to the importance of her job, she never goes anywhere without her loyal set of bodyguards. After the most current events of the most recent chapter, Aihi has received a Quirk - Time Dilation - from an unknown source.
Appearance[]
Aihi is a young woman with a pale complexion and shadow gray eyes. She fher eyes with her pure white hair that flows past her shoulders. Additionally, she also wears a pair of black kiatero earings.
As a member of the Amaterasu Family, Aihi wears fancy attires which consist of a puffy, cream to a pastel rose-pink hue-coloured sweater with long sleeves, white puffy short pants, and a brown corset. Below the corset, she also wears another lighter brown-colored piece of fabric that has frilly edges. The corset is tied at the front with strings. Her boots are brown-coloured, being tight-fitting and extending above her knees.
As a member of the Intelligence Division for the Knights of Chaos, Aihi is often shown in a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color ombré from white to pale blue at the hem, with a small piece of black lace sitting erected at the front of her neckline. The hem of the dress is scalloped and stitched to resemble snowflakes, with layers of white tulle attached under the skirt. Over this, she wears a bell-sleeved bolero with the same color ombré as her dress from shoulder to wrist, lined in red and with a ruffled collar. This is considered the standard uniform for higher operating female members of the Intelligence Division. Although, after the events of chapter 206, she has modified her uniform, to the point where it now resembles more of a military-style uniform with gold buttons.
In her hero costume, Aihi adorns a white custom tube top with purple cables. The cable hooks up to a specialized radio device, allowing her to cmmunicate with her team. On her head, Aihi wears a domino mask, green bunny ears that fire one explosive each, and Takeyama horns. Her neck boasts a green scarf, mostly for aestetical purposes. Strapped to her arm is a purple arm garment that is modified to excreet a unique chloralform spray. Situated near her waist and below, lies a brown pouch, a purple high-rise wrap around skirt (trimmed), milk white shorts, backup cables for transmission, fishnets, an additional pouch and anchor gray boots.
Personality[]
The foremost legal expert of the Knights of Chaos and the "person behind the monitor" for the respective division leaders, Aihi enjoys appraisal and outlandish theories, being extremely knowledgeable on all manners of topics, including the art of making poison. Most notably, she is able to spot loopholes in existing laws, allowing her to exploit them to help any missions that the Knights of Chaos go on, be in their favour. Her extensive knowledge of the laws of other nations outside of Japan, as well as the laws governing the heroics of Japan, allow her to make split decisions swift and appraise the situation - giving her an indispensable role as the information coordinator of the group.
Her swiftness in appraising all manners of situations, have earned her a coveted position as the information coordinator for the Knights and thus in her, does Darius place an enormous amount of his trust to facilitate a large majority of operations for the Knights of Chaos. Her knowledge of technology has allowed her to design supportive equipment to aid the Quirkless members of the Knights of Chaos. She is noted by Darius to be rather sly about her words, to the point of being extremely manipulative.
Outside of her work, Aihi is deeply caring individual. She makes jokes, loves rollercoasters and enjoys travel. Because of this, she frequently visits Norway as an excuse for her jobs monthly branch summary report.
Abilities[]
Overall Abilities: Aihi's greatest asset prior to becoming the "person behind the monitor" for the Knights of Chaos and by extension, Darius Takeyama, was her vast knowledge of fundamental hero skills and tactics. Having grown up underneath the guardianship of the famed Melissa Shield from the time that she turned into a toddler to the time of her defection at age 16, she has become highly skilled and knowledgeable in all manners of heroics. Despite not possessing a Quirk, Aihi is a skilled fighter and possesses moderate to above advanced fighting ability. Before being recruited by Darius Takaeyama to become a member of the Knights of Chaos, Aihi was a first-year student of I-Island Academy, where she was the top student of the incoming freshman class and the class representative. Her vast combat prowess and experience also allowed her to swiftly rise the ranks of the Knights of Chaos, impressing Darius who eventually chose her to become a member of his inner circle.
Trained Muscles: As a member of the Amaterasu Family who didn't receive a Quirk until later on in life, Aihi was required to rigorously train in order to catch up to her younger siblings who were all blessed with Quirks. Having trained and fought people for much of her life, Aihi has gained a muscular physique that permits her to preform at parameters higher than that of an average person who was born with a Quirk. She is considered one of the most strongest members of the Knights of Chaos, as noted by Darius himself.
Immense Stamina: Aihi has enourmous stamina reserves. Her younger days of honing her body made it so that she had a lot energy to draw on. This, topped with her own genetic modifications made to herself (via Darius Takeyama's cells) grants her a superhuman amount of stamina.
Immense Durability: Aihi can take multiple blows without tiring or taking much damage. In training, she is stated to have taken a punch by a gigantified Darius Takeyama (the equivalent to 2,668.93 newtons of force).
Genius Intellect: Her teachings from Melissa Shield garnered her a cleverness quite hard to come by in her younger days. Since then, her knowledge and smarts only grew.
Adaptability: Aihi has quoted herself as "the queen of adaptibility". She fasions a plethora of gear to help her adapt to situations and can think fast in moments of danger.
Leadership Skills: Her brilliant tactician skills are effective in her field of work, dictating battle.
Indomitable Will: Aihi's mighty willpower makes it hard for her mind to be pried at.
Master Swordswomanship: Aihi is skilled in the usage of English bastard swords to Japanese katanas.
Quirk[]
Time Dilation: Transferred to her by the quirk transference super move, Aihi's Quirk allows her to manipulate her own time and movement speed, significantly increasing all of her physical abilities, especially her response time. Her unbelievable speed allows her to out speed any obstacles as well as avoid Quirk-enhanced abilities with a good ease.

Olenna (おれな Orena?): Olenna is a weapon that was initially designed by Melissa Shield for Aihi's usage during her Hero Training but was eventually modified to fit Aihi's usage, having since become Aihi's signature weapon. It is a fencing rapier that doesn't have a particularly heavy pommel, unusual for a sword of it's make and type.

- Her given name contains the kanji for "love, affection" (愛 ai?) and "a ruler's wife; queen; empress" (妃 hi?).
- Her surname contains the kanji for "heaven, sky" (天 ama?) and "shine" (照 terasu?).
- Aihi's name was originally supposed to be "Aihime" but the author decided to use that as her alias, as they thought it would look weird as her actual name.
- Her alias of Indigo Princess (藍姫 Aihime?) is a reference to the purple fabrics that she enjoys wearing, whenever she has time.
- Aihi's favorite food is hot pot.
- Aihi's love for the colours purple and green are reflected in her hero costume.
- Before becoming a student in the I-Island Academy's freshman class, Aihi worked part-time at a convenience store. She also used to work at festivals part-time when she was younger.
