Appearance[]

Glass has green hair in a high bun, though it’s a bit messy. He’s quite short and burly, giving him a tough-looking appearance, and tattoos covering his biceps, which he loves to show off.

Glass often wears a large trench coat with thick gloves and boots, as well as a (slightly rusty) welding mask. He has a belt with heavy metal cans of sand and glass attached to it. Strapped to his back is a metal blow pipe he calls his “metal pipe of pain.”

Personality[]

Glass is, as his siblings describe him, ‘a prick.’ He enjoys annoying others and has a habit of mocking his opponents, making fun of them and using the worst puns he can think up (though most of his puns are actually somewhat clever). Despite trying to act cool and suave, Glass is actually, as his siblings also say, ‘an excitable dork.’ He is very passionate about his glass molding and is very animated when explaining things he’s excited about.

Abilities[]

Quirk[]

Glass’ quirk Liquid Glass allows him to heat up glass (and occasionally sand) to its melting point and telekinetically control its molten form, then cool it down back to its solid form. He can only telekinetically control glass when it’s in molten form, and he has to focus to keep it liquified. His internal body temperature will gradually increase the longer he uses it over an extended period of time. Glass’ temperature will go up 1 degree every 20 minutes (his average body temperature being 36 degrees Celsius), but will slowly cool down once he stops using his quirk, though the cooldown takes about 10 minutes each degree.

History[]

Early Life[]

Glass was raised in Kusakawa (official birthplace is unknown), a small fishing village with very few (if any) pro-heroes and a high crime rate. When he was a two month old baby, his mother dropped him into the arms of the nearest stranger, then ran away. The stranger that now had Glass was called Chemical, a member of the local gang. Chemical took Glass back to the gang headquarters and gave him to Splash, who raised a lot of orphans the gang members found/made. And so, Glass was raised alongside 5 other kids; Pause, Prophet (Arata), Hands, Emma, and Shadow. The gang initially called Glass “Green Bean” (because of his green hair) until he got his quirk.

When he became an official member of the Kusakawa Gang at age 13, he often did a lot of the fighting rather than much stealth or other kinds. He didn’t like hurting people that much, but found the gang to be more important and followed orders well.

Finding Prophet[]

When Prophet left and changed his name to Arata, Glass was incredibly distressed and confused because though he didn’t always act like it, Glass respected his older brother immensely. This resurfaced unnoticed feelings of abandonment, and Glass later ran off to find Arata and bring him home. Upon finding his brother with a new family and other friends, he became angry, and confronted Arata. They fought for a bit, and Glass soon realized he wouldn’t get to win that fight, so he ran off, swearing that he would come back.
