"We've got each other, I don't need you worrying, if you worry you'll put the two of us in danger and I know you are strong, so, you have nothing to worry about, okay? I left a bit of my equipment since it's still being made or wouldn't fit here, though it shouldn't make any difference to the match. I can counter Li Jie's quirk with my own, we just need to aim for the exit!"

Miranda Amastacia (ミランダ アマステーシア, Miranda Amasuteeshia) is a second-year student attending Class 2-A in the U.A. High School and currently the Class Representative. Unlike most students of U.A., her parents have never become heroes despite having nearly the same quirk as Miranda. They felt that being a hero wasn't an opportunity for them due to their "useless quirks" and Miranda decided she would show them otherwise. Or so that was the excuse they gave Miranda in an attempt to make her choose a safer job. Miranda's quirk is known as Impetus. She ranked 17th for her Quirk Appraisal which Miranda is quite proud of due to it being higher than last years.

At a young age, her parents showed a dislike for heroes. It was nothing about the job but more on the side that they felt that they did everything they wished to do. The constant feeling of disappointment and gloom around heroes put Miranda off of heroes for a long time and instead looked at becoming a police officer just like her father. She spent most of her time with this ideal, even making a friend, Hibiki Reona, because of it but before long Miranda's true calling came forth after saving Hibiki from a villain.

She never planned on joining any certain school and searched many of them until she came to U.A. It wasn't like any other and the reviews were high but so was the entry requirements. She confronted her parents and searched her dream before taking the entrance exam for U.A. and other schools. Personally she thought it was better to join Shiketsu but before she knew it she was accepted to U.A. High. After a year in the hero course, Miranda doesn't regret anything.

Despite what she and her parents first believed, Impetus became a rather unique and useful quirk. She managed to learn quickly on how to use her quirk to save others with her confidence being the real weakness she needs to overall. This forces Miranda to become more of a sidekick than a hero. Miranda has made many friends along the way, mingling with her class and other classes and also worked on entertaining fans, going as far as creating her own catchphrase and signature to give to fans. She also came up with her hero name, The Adapting Hero: Celetriss (KANJI, ROMAJI), thanks to the help of her fans, despite how small in number they may be. As such Miranda tries to become the idol for others to follow, wishing to inspire someone to become a hero just like her.

Miranda had done as much as she can to be where she is today including intense training and even leaving her comfort-zone. All of this has prepared her to become the person she wishes to be. A strong minded hero who will inspire and save the many, not the few.

Appearance

Miranda3

Taking one look at Miranda gives you a sense of how serious Miranda is about her studies. Her uniform is in prime condition and her glasses scream knowledge to people, yet, her hero costume shows that she really is just a young girl wanting to become a hero like so many others. She stands out in crowds with her hair and bold appearance and personality making her rather unique, in a good way.

Miranda has a dark blue hair which she fashions into a side ponytail on the right with a scrunchie. Despite her usual pristine look, her hair is pretty messy due to her hair being naturally wavy. Her fringe is usually thrown to the left, covering her left eye a bit, while two strains crown her face. Miranda's hair doesn't match any of her parents, her father having black hair while her mother having blond, but her eyes are the same as her mothers. Her eyes are rather large and frame her face well making her other features seem a lot smaller than they really are. They are a light blue, more of a sky blue than an ocean blue. She is often seen wearing glasses, especially during class, due to her needing them for reading, a trait that runs with her father. Miranda formerly had black hair before she dyed it.

Moving onto the other details of her face, Miranda's eyes take up most of her face making her other facial appearances seem a lot smaller than they really are. This makes them the most defining feature Miranda owns. She is actually rather pale which could be the result of her spending too much time inside studying rather than enjoying her youth while it lasts. Miranda's chin is quite pointy, something that also seems to run in her family, but her face is quite big, her cheeks being a bit chubby here and there. Her nose is also quite pointed to it being straight and rigid to some. Despite this, her eyebrows are thin and carefree and her smile is also quite carefree. They are round and seem to flow rather than the rest of her rather rigid facial features. This helps show off these smooth areas and almost hide how pointy the rest of her face really seems.

Miranda has a lot of casual clothes but she is quite fashionable. The colour scheme usually involves blues and greys and also many galaxy patterns such as stars or constellations. Her favourite set of clothing is rather simple. Miranda can be seen with her hair down for once, as such it reaches past her shoulders as has small curls at the ends. She wears a white pinstripe shirt with a light blue scarf making it a lot more formal than most people's casual clothes, however, Miranda is known to overdress for all types of occasions. She wears a skort that has a gradient pattern. It starts off with a black that works to a brown, a dark blue, a lighter blue, and lastly indigo. This pattern is also in form of a galaxy, a theme Miranda carries over to her hero costume. To keep up with Miranda's formal way of dressing she tucks in her shirt and wears a long dark blue cardigan that nearly covers the skorts entirely. She leaves this unbuttoned; the most casual part of the whole clothes. They are white crystals in a pattern on the side of her selves as well as a grey branding found on the left side of her chest. The brand looks much like a snowflake. She has two pockets at the bottom of the cardigan which are rather large and can fit most things inside it.

To complete her outfit, Miranda wears slippers at the bottom of her feet. They are mainly white but have grey on the heel and the lining of the slippers. They also have the same grey snowflake branding the cardigan has. Miranda then wears socks that make it seem like the slippers are actually boots unless people look closer. These socks are mainly navy blue and reach just below the knee. At the top of them they are lined with grey to seem like they end as knee-high boots, however, it is at a slant. The socks go on to be white with mini grey stars on the side of them. They go up to the top of her thighs with a small grey lining near the middle of the end, leaving a white line on top. This gives the appearance of them to be sport socks. This informal shoe wear compliments how formal the upper body is and creates a form of casual clothes with a hint of elegance. Just the way Miranda's mother taught her how to dress.

Miranda2

Miranda's school clothes are like most people in U.A. High, however, with some slight alterations that somehow stay in the school's rules. The usual U.A. clothes are a light grey suit over a white dress shirt and dark green dress trousers, along with a red necktie. Miranda's uniform is a bit different, the main difference is that she does not wear trousers but instead wears a dark green skirt but also her suit jacket. Thought the jacket is the same clothes of the others its appearance is somewhat different. It is plain and light grey and at the collar, it has two dark green stripes. It is usually buttoned with three golden buttons with a final button at the very top of the jacket pinning her red necktie but Miranda has lost the bottom button and to this day it annoys her when people point it out to her. Miranda also has dark green cuffs are that overturned. This suit jacket covers Miranda white blouse that's collar is rounded and is not fold down. Instead of the usual necktie, Miranda dons a red necktie that is thin and tied like a bowtie.

Miranda is seen usually with navy knee-socks lined with white frills that reach above her white boots. The boots are tall, white boots with a ribbon tied around the top. Miranda wears different scrunchies each and every day to school through her favourite is a light blue scrunchie. Lastly, Miranda is seen with a pink and blue handbag that is used for school. It is mainly navy blue with pink in the middle and at the end of the straps. There is also a silver heart design at the end of the straps and a golden button to shut the handbag. This bad is small and round and can barely contain anything inside it expect her pens and pencils and so Miranda is seen, more and often, carrying all her stuff around making the bag simply an accessory and having no real use to her. Despite this, Miranda brings it everywhere claiming it is an important part of her whole school uniform to come together.

This is Miranda's third costume known as Star Blossom.

Former Hero Costumes
Mirandaherocostumeold

This was Miranda's costume during her first year of U.A. in Class 1-A. It was known as Starlight Hero and was reformed into Starlight Hero Ver. 2 which Miranda wore during the start of her second year. This costume is certainly bold but is pretty simple when broken down with mainly just stars and bows as it's motif. It also follows the colour scheme of blue, white and gold, some of Miranda's favourite colours.

The costume starts off with a rather basic white corset that is tight-fitting and doesn't reach any higher than her chest. It also stops before the bottom half of Miranda's stomach, leaving her quite open. This is then layered with a waist-coat design top that reaches further down than the corset but not by much. It is white like the corset but is lined with gold and bronze. These are fashioned together so they don't move or flap about by silver straps finished with light blue gemstones in a diamond shape. What makes this top much brighter and much more complex is the ribbon that rests in at the top, near the middle, of the two tops. It is a dark cobalt blue, just darker than her hair, that is lined with a dark silver that nears towards grey. It is tied into a bow and is pinned with a large five-pointed star right in the middle of the knot, ensuring it won't be undone. There is also a dark green ribbon underneath the bow that is much thinner and shadows the large ribbon, creating a much larger bow. Instead of silver, the ribbon is lined with gold. The last thing the bow pins together is Miranda's cape. It is created from a large cloth that is transparent and depending on the light hitting it turns out different colours including a light blue, a pink, a yellow and a purple. It wraps around Miranda being left at the back causing wind to pick it up and flap looking like a mini cape of sorts. When no wind or air is flowing hard enough to cause it to be in the air it is usually seen resting on her back which is open slightly with a cut in Miranda's waistcoat.

Moving further down, Miranda has a tutu. While not the entire and casually tut that is perfectly straight and horizontal, Miranda's tutu follows the image of a skirt projecting out horizontal from the waist and hips. The most underside of the skirt is a soft under-body that is much larger than the actual skirt itself. Instead, it comes out in a frill pattern past the skirt giving it an edging. The main body of the skirt is much more appealing. The main body is white with gold and bronze lining on the edge with golden etching to create an angular pattern created by squares. This follows around the dress is even patterns with the except for the right of the dress which has golden words etched into it from her mothers' company.

The last piece of the skirt are silver tassets. Though they are not armour-plated, they follow the same design and concept with a fine cloth. They are outlined with a light blue not seen anywhere else on the outfit. Though they are mainly sliver, there are white dots mimicking stars while also some yellow, larger, stars. They are caught onto the skirt with a white fashion belt around the blue waistband of the skirt. It is buckled with a bronze diamond shape. There is also a dark blue ribbon, similar to the bow on the corset, that lines around the back and sides of the tutu. It has eight small diamond gems, light blue like the corset straps, that finish the skirt on the front and back and attached the ribbon. There is also a decorative four-pointed star with a four-pointed star gem and then a larger diamond gem on left and right, around the middle area, that creates a much bigger eight-pointed star on either side.

Lastly, to complete the outfit, there are many accessories and Miranda's pointe shoes. The shoes are like most standard female ballet dancers, however, unlike most pointe shoes, these are not skin colour. Instead, the shoes are silver with only sliver ribbon riding up her leg, stopping and tying off above her knee. This ribbon is also followed by a light blue with dark blue lining sock. once it reaches the top it splits creating a diagonal uprise. To finish her outfit off, Miranda wears two silver necklaces that are tucked under a false collar of a shirt. It has a white choker with a light blue, diamond-shaped, gem at the middle. The collar is a much darker silver than the necklace and has a white pattern to inline with the dark silver outlining again. She also has another large gem, much like the one on her tutu, that is attached on her left arm with silver ribbon.

Miranda also has a pair of white gloves she wears. They cut off past her wrist and have gold-lining like most of her outfit. It also has a small dark ribbon on the wrist that has gold lining and is tied into a bow. It is much thinner compared to the thick, dark blue, bow on Miranda's top. On her ears, Miranda has a light blue stud that seems like a gem that falls down two golden loops into a five-pointed star much like the middle of the dark blue bow on Miranda's corset. Finally, in her hair, Miranda has a white bow with silver-lining. It has a dark green ribbon with gold lining shadowing the bow into a much bigger but thinner bow. Out from the white bow is a white ribbon with gold lining that curls around her side tail. It also has an aqua bubble with white specks that is topped with a gold, diamond shape, metal bridge creating a royal crown.

MirandaAmas5

Miranda's hero costume is really bold and confident, something that Miranda lacks during hero work. Miranda designed the costume herself after the ideal of shining as bright as a star. Though the costume looks great to wear, it has no real use unlike the rest of her class. This could be counted as a flaw in design but that was exactly the point of it. It starts with an indigo top that has ruffled fabric on the right shoulder, which is attached by a silver band to create a lining. On the left shoulder Miranda doesn't have anything on and instead wears a silver choker around her neck Along with a glittering, pale blue gradient cape that has an image of stars over it that is worn on the right shoulder but attached to her choker. The top thus looks like a tube top. A silver band wraps around the bottom of the chest and the top, the top one being accented by a design and then attached with a single, light blue diamond gem. At the torso area, there are silver straps forming a design that includes diamonds. A single indigo opera glove is included with a white and silver cuff and is worn on her left hand.

For the bottom half, an indigo pleat skirt with a blue gradient design completes the dress. It has shine marks and faded lines and bubbles to create a galaxy effect. The bottom is lined with silver, with the left portion of fabric being inches longer than the right. Miranda wears indigo boots with a silver toe and cuff. Around the ankle is a thick bangle covered with light blue diamonds. Lastly, she wears a silver headband with three, light blue diamonds that are placed in the middle of the headband horizontally. A single diamond hangs from the centre placing perfectly on her forehead. A single diamond earring is, also, included with silver shards hanging from it and is worn on the left ear with her glove. Miranda loves this outfit, helping the support create the dress by adding her own flair to it. Unlike her usual hairstyle, Miranda does not have a scrunchie in and instead has a blue bubble that almost disappears with her hair. This makes her hair look like it is naturally sitting in a messy ponytail rather than being held up.

Miranda has add her own items to her outfit. It holds a small gun holster on her right side which was given to her by her dad. It is indigo in colour and acts a bit like a belt around her. She usually has a pistol inside which, etched on its grip, has a flower in it which was also given to her by her dad. Miranda promised to only use non-lethal bullets unless a real emergency came to hand, such as a villain or near-death situation while working with the police force. Sometimes Miranda is seen clutching the weapon or tracing the flower on the grip of the gun. The gun is quite polished and shiny being that of a dark silver colour and has an iron grip. Miranda calls this costume; Starlight Hero Ver. 2

Personality and Traits

"I'm expecting Mirandork to break out into some cheesy pop song about love."
Kinzoku Kursari in Chapter 10

MirandaAmas7

Miranda, to most who have not talked to her, seems rather distant and quiet. Miranda seems to give off an aura of a lone wolf and it does not help with her habit of rule keeping. With a constant frown, Miranda can be seen walking around looking clouded and angry. In reality, Miranda is just thinking to herself. She constantly calculates and thinks through a plan, including as simple as how she will go through her day. The only things that interrupt her thought train is usually people from her classroom or if she arrives at the destination she had planned for the day. It is for this reason that people in her classroom should know better than her aura being simply her concentrating on something but that sometimes doesn't stop people getting the idea that Miranda does not want anyone near her. There is a few people who seem unaffected by this "aura" and these are usual her friends and teachers. Though this is still quite a small number for someone who is suppose to be a class representative for 2-A. This does, however, make Miranda quick to realise small details such as uniform being incorrect. Since she knows every single rule that U.A. has to offer, she has a habit of repeating these to people as she tells them off, giving off a tone of a mother scolding their child. It is in this way, that her aura lives up to be the truth as Miranda does have the habit of scaring off people with it being her emotionless face or her strict love for rules.

MirandaEmotional

Despite this rather hard exterior, Miranda is very emotional around her friends and family, however, she dislikes showing people this side of her if she admires them or do not know them well enough as she sees it as a sign of weakness. Miranda is a bit like an open book, her feelings are always on show unless she is thinking. Though she is an open book and people can read her well, she is not true to her own feelings, often denying her love for something or someone or her true feelings over something. This has been seen many times over the two years Miranda has spent in U.A. but has mostly been seen by Kiba, Tali and Griselle, who she has grown close to. Though she would rather they were not used to this sight, Miranda is happy with the support she is given by them and considers them valuable friends and teachers. She also considers these people to be stronger than her and wishes endlessly to have their strength one day.

This also does not help with how Miranda seems to lack confidence in her own abilities, almost always cutting down compliments and always believing people are better than her. Though this may be true, the fact she has no faith in her abilities has proven to be troublesome as, at times, Miranda doesn't even try to do anything without the aid of others. If Miranda is to ever grow to become a hero then this first needs to be cleared up. Miranda already knows a hero must be confident, bold and supportive and this is why she tries to give this persona while she is in her hero costume, though this usually fails as she is unsure how to be as strong-willed as the heroes she reads and sees on a daily basis.

MirandaFoodie

Though she is soft-spoken, Miranda will always have an opinion on how tasty food is, espically deserts. Miranda is what you would call a foodie; one with a sweet tooth. She has no fear in trying all types of food and when food is put on the table, a new sort of determination has risen inside Miranda. Snacking while studying and eating rather large lunches, it's a wonder where she puts the energy she gains from it all. Miranda is pretty active, however, going to a dojo to train with Kiba, and sometimes Leo, to grow in her martial arts and general strength. Not only this Miranda has a lot of hobbies. Her parents have been the biggest influences in these hobbies. Her mother taught her how to make clothes and as such Miranda makes her costumes by her own hands, with help of her mother and her hero grant. Her father taught her how to handle a weapon but also various skills that is used in a day-to-day cop life and is what originally sparked Miranda's goal; to help anyone and everyone in need. Miranda's favourite food is Strawberry Parfait, mainly because of her former best friend, Hibiki Reona, used to make them for Miranda all the times. She is sometimes seen eating this at lunch or when she is seeking motivation for sometimes. There is the rare time she will eat it alone, in her room, when she is upset.

MirandaDancing

It is for this reason Miranda barely is seen bored as she is either training, studying, designing, eating, sleeping or working. This full on and busy lifestyle is the way Miranda enjoys it as she hates to be bored and to sit still for too long. She would rather use her time wisely and grow stronger as a person. This is why Miranda is rather dedicated and determined to do a good job at things. Miranda also enjoys dancing and singing. At a young age, she sang with her best friend, and a few other people from her school in the dance club, forming a team to compete in school talent contests and the such. Miranda's parents still hear her sing in the shower or sometimes see her sing and dance to the radio or to her favourite songs she is listening to while studying. During a Karaoke night she sang in front of her classmates. She doesn't know if anyone enjoyed her singing but secretly dedicated her song to Tali. Due to Miranda having very little confidence in her area of confession, she will most likely never admit this to anyone. Miranda does, however, kept a written diary hidden in her room and has the key as part of her charm bracelet she is often seen wearing.

MirandaMagazine

Miranda has a wide range of interests and traits but almost all link back to her dream of becoming a hero. Miranda studies heroes from left to right to learn everything about them and also has a habit of hoarding magazines. She is almost like a child, her eyes glittering past each page. If the hero is unknown Miranda studies a lot more on them while if it's a hero she knows to be related to her classmates she will study to try and learn more about her friends. Studying is Miranda's favourite past time and it is why she is only beaten by her friend Griselle. With any free time she can get, Miranda spends it studying for tests that are months away. It becomes no shock to people that she is a nerd and as such is known to have a small group of friends who are intelligent. Some call them the Nerd Squad with Miranda leading them in a weekly Dungeons & Dragons game. Not only is she into D&D though, Miranda is fond of playing video games too, getting as far as Gold 3 in the popular MMO Nexoria and is known by the alias <_LoneStorm_>. Lastly, Miranda is also a fan of collecting and this is why she has a wide range of magazines from all over the world. She has monthly or weekly subscriptions for most, counting down the days for magazines that have her favourite heroes in them or are specials. She also collects a few figures from her favourite shows though she does not watch TV as often anymore as she used to before joining U.A. High.

History

Quirk

Main article: Impetus
Impetus

Impetus (KANJI, ROMAJI) is an Emitter Quirk used that allows Miranda to control the properties of an object without physically changing it. This works by Miranda touching an object and being able to change the molecular structure so it has different types of attributes, such as spikes, within a few seconds. This can work with tag-teaming with someone's quirk or by touching anything as long as it isn't heavier than Miranda herself. She is also unable to control a living thing. Due to the changes not being physical, the changes are invisible and people don't know when the changes will be taking place. Depending on Miranda's reaction, she could even change how powerful an attack is, however, she is only able to control two objects at a time. Miranda is also unable to change an object into another object, a piece of paper will always be a piece of paper but it may be sharp or poisonous.

Miranda is currently able to use two Super Moves known as Mass Suggestion (KANJI, ROMAJI) and Phase Through Restriction (KANJI, ROMAJI).

Abilities

Miranda has a wide range of abilities from ones she has learned from her year in U.A. High, ones she has learned in her own personal training times and ones she has learned from her father while volunteering as a police officer. Miranda tries to use all of her training and lessons are given to her as best as she can, though sometimes teaching isn't the problem but rather just Miranda trusting in her own abilities.

Cobra Kai

CobraKai

Cobra Kai (眼鏡蛇拳(コブラ カイ), Meganehebi Ken) is a form of Martial Arts created by Kiba Megane, Miranda's trainer. Much like the name suggests this form of arts is quite brutal, something that Miranda would rather avoid if it wasn't for her rather forced training. It takes inspiration from that of a cobra, a snake, and therefore has two forms to it. Its defensive form is called Slithering while the more offensive form is called Biting. Miranda has only had a month of training so far when it comes to these techniques, as such she does not know all of the techniques involved. Though it was originally Kiba's art, Miranda has made it her own in some ways.

Slithering is by far Miranda's strongest when it comes to the martial arts as a whole. It is the base for the art, making it impossible for people to learn more on the topic until they manage to get a grounds of Slithering. Slithering is the focus on defence for the user. It is masked as more of an offensive move by seeming like Miranda is going in for an attack by the sharpness of the moves. Fast and rigid in places the user jerks her body back and forth to avoid the incoming attack. In some ways, it doesn't follow the aspect of snakes slither with their smooth and mesmerising movements but a snake also strikes hard and fast.

During Slithering Miranda has a much slower reaction than Kiba. Instead of being as snappy, it is much more flowing in places. Of course, this is a weakness in Kiba's eyes but no matter how much training has been placed over this area, Miranda still seems to flow. In some ways it fits the feeling of a snake a lot more, her Slithering looking a lot much more like a slither than the snappy attacks. This leaves her open sometimes if the opponent expects such movements but this flowing motion doesn't make her slow. Her Slithering is still about to avoid a lot of attacks and still has the still feeling of incoming as an attack rather than a defence which in some ways means that her Slithering is working and just needs more work. It is assumed that she will get more snappy the more times she practices but until then, her Slithering is strong, just flowing rather than the ridged movements Kiba sees it to be.

In the factor of Biting, there are actually three more techniques that focus on an aspect of ones' body. These are using the knees, the fist and the elbows. Due to Miranda's short stature, Kiba started Miranda off by teaching her how to use her elbows in an offensive matter. The elbows are rather awkward to teach first due to them suppose to be used to confuse and to use as one-off attacks rather than the main force of attacks. This aspect of Cobra Kai is focused on the snake's hard skin that not only protects it but is a life source for survival. As such, the elbows are known to be used by Kiba as more of a hidden technique used to cause whiplash to people. Miranda's version isn't much different but has evolved a little to allow Miranda to use these sorts of attacks more so than others.

Following such a brutal act is something Miranda has been unable to do. It is not in her nature. As such she has managed to tone her attacks down. Though they still hold a great deal of force, she is unlike to break bones as easily as Kiba can, though it is still a feat she is able to do. Trying to avoid the breaking of bones, Miranda mixes her usual tactical fighting style mixed with Cobra Kai to find the weaknesses of people as fast as she can before striking hard and fast with her elbow in that section. Due to her small size, it works well, her elbow is quite high in her body and allows her to attack most people's mid-body section which wouldn't work out if she was using her knees. This fast type of attack is usually unexpected from Miranda due to her usual slow and more ranged attack length she used to prefer to do at times like this. This sudden change can be used to strike surprise and fear into her fellow students in 2-A leaving them rather confused and the next attack to be more unexpected than the last.

One the talk of other Biting techniques - fist and knees - Miranda has had very minimal training on this area due to the short length of time she has had with Kiba. This leaves her able to use one or two of these attacks to mix up her usual elbow attacks but unable to really harness the abilities it provides. Kiba plans on teaching more to Miranda after the Sports Festival.

Equipment

Miranda has a large array of equipment ranging from her guns to a pen. Miranda enjoys being ready for anything and as such has gathered almost everything she needs. Despite how tidy her room is there is a lot of clutter that most would seem useless to people but Miranda would find some sort of use somehow. Some could say Miranda has a few hoarding problems which would work due to her large stock of guns and hero magazines. Miranda has said to collected every single hero magazine since her birth.

Weapons

MirandaPistol

Miranda's pistol was given to her by her father and was told to never use it unless she feels there is no other way to solve a problem. It is rather simple in design being the same colour throughout but on the grip, there is a flower, a rose, etched in by her father. Miranda keeps this weapon close to her body and has it attached to her hero costume with non-lethal bullets on hand. Miranda is not afraid to shoot people, having had training with such guns and sometimes shoot such weapons while working with the police force. Unlike most she has very little fear, knowing it is either her or someone else. This is a rather cold determination that Miranda has but it is thanks to the many hours of training with her father. Her father named the Pistol Pistolas y Rosas which is Spanish for Guns 'n' Roses. The pistol holds 16 bullets per magazine and was created to house 9mm bullets, however, her father was so protective that she never got the gun as a normal pistol. It instead houses rubber bullets that can cause bruises or scratches at most. This gun was made to make Miranda feel safe as well as be used throughout without any legal problems arising. The gun is, therefore, created with the intention of tactical use rather than lethal use. Miranda does this by lying to people about how strong her gun is or simply pointing it at someone as a scare-monger technique or use the bullets to determine things, such as when Miranda used her bullets to determine if the Izanagi in front of her was real or an illusion.

Star Blossom

Star Blossom is Miranda's current hero costume and the first hero costume to have any real use. With the help of a support student, Miranda created quite a few items to help her and are part of her overall hero costume.

MirandaDad

Kuroba Amastacia (KANJI, ROMAJI) is Miranda's father who is able to use his quirk to change the shape and size of an object. He works as a police officer. His job is a lot harder than most would seem, with the heroes on the rise, his jobs are less and less frequent and at times people don't even bother calling the police, expecting a hero to come to save them. Miranda's father does not care much about this, enjoying the simple fact that he is helping even the smallest of people with things from every day help to jailing villains - with the help of a hero of course.

Sometimes Miranda has been seen working with her father in the police office, helping her father an others out when she can. It is these rare chances that Miranda feel confident and it may be why the two get on with each other so much, however, this does cause tension as Miranda's father does wish she could just become a police officer like him.

MirandaAmasMother

Renate Amastacia (KANJI, ROMAJI) is Miranda's mother who is able to use her quirk to change the speed of an object. She is also a school teacher for children with disabilities. Miranda's mother is your typical kind and loving mother. Despite wishing Miranda to not become a hero, she supports her in all her choices. She does worry about her daughter with her rather strict and upcoming personality that can sometimes shake a lot of people away from her. It is for this reason that her mother believes she doesn't have many friends at school but Miranda refuses this information.

Miranda's mother has been seen making treats for Miranda many a time as a reward for her child. It can be this that can make some things seem quite childish for Miranda but Miranda is still a child and enjoys this kind of treatment from her mother. The two, however, do not get along with each other all the time. Miranda is more of a father person than a mother person, clinging to him a lot during fights which can cause tension but generally the household is pretty quiet and calm.

Aka
Aka Amastacia (KANJI, ROMAJI) is Miranda's older sister who lives in America. She is a famous actress known for her Cosmo duo and due to her name she is known as Red Cosmo. The two are very close siblings but their career and personality couldn't be more opposite. Living in Japan while Aka lives in America has caused quite a few problems when it comes to try to communicate to each other and they mostly see each other through TV screens. They do go on a video call on the weekends of the end of the month to chat to each other. Miranda usually shares some of her training in U.A. with her sister as her biggest show is a hero show in the US. Miranda has been seen with American magazines and despite not being able to read it clearly she has a rather small pile of them all with cover photos or interviews with her sister.

Jirou Uniform

Jirou Tezuka (手塚治郎, Jirō Tedzuka) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 1.

Nearó

Jack Daniels (ジャック•ダニエルズ, Jakku Danieruzu) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 2. Miranda knows next to nothing about Jack being a transfer to U.A. so far she is yet to get much of an opinion on Jack but can see he has taken a liking to Akira, Midoiri, Aiko and Ryuji. Miranda is worried that these friends will loop him into trouble but knows better than to say anything.

Griselle

Griselle Hideaki (グリセール・ヒデアキ, Gurisēru Hideaki) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 3. Griselle is most likely the only person who would get along the best with Miranda due to the two of them being rather similar to each other. For one the two both write in cursive writing, both wear glasses, both respect school rules, both are highly intelligent and that is just the beginning of the two. The two speak at times, most of the time to nerd out about the latest hero news or just general news stories since out of all the people in Miranda's class the two are clearly the most knowledgeable when it comes to what is going on around them. Some could describe the two as sisters from different mothers due to how alike they are. because of the knowledge Griselle knows, Miranda can be sometimes jealous of this intelligence but also always asking her question to learn more herself. This allows the two to learn off each other which to outsiders could look like some sort of nerd gathering.

Griselle is part of Miranda's usual table at lunch known as the NERD GROUP.

Tali

Tali Shimamura (KANJI, ROMAJI) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 4. A rather kind and popular student Miranda hasn't actually talked to Tali that much and has a habit of avoiding eye contact with the girl. Miranda takes care to watch everyone closely especially since she is the Class Reprenstive and finds it to be her duty yet her eyes always travel away from Tali almost like she is focusing on something more important in the room. If Tali has noticed this strange behaviour or not Miranda does not know nor does she really care as she only hopes the girl won't lock eyes with her. Weirdly enough, Miranda does talk about Tali in conversations and whenever Tali joins them Miranda laughs and makes an excuse for why she has to leave. She has been like this for the first year but this year it has been more and more often as the class has bonded closer together.

During the start of her first hero event of the second year, Miranda was surprised to hear Tali compliment her dress. From then on, things started to get better in their relationship with Tali asking her to design a costume for her. During lunch, she did this and was shocked to find her happy with her design. Only a few hours later, Tali texted her and invited her out to a karaoke. During this Miranda finally let herself loose and enjoyed herself. It didn't take long for Miranda to get back to her serious self, however, and she started her training for the Sport Festival. Though Miranda did't make it past the Calvary Battle she cheered Tali on with all her might...

Dante Common

Dante Shimamura (KANJI, ROMAJI) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 5.

School Uniform

Saori Yamamoto (沙織山本, Sari Yamamoto) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 6. Though rather brash and loud, Miranda likes Saori a lot. It's one of the few people in her school that she can safely say that she respect, despite the odd rule broken here and there. Saori is the wild Miranda could need to come out of her comfort zone. Miranda has only spoken to Saori a couple of times and sometimes has been lost of what Saori has been saying due to her weird language, in Miranda's mind anyway. May it be the slang or simply her accent, Miranda is unsure why she has trouble understanding Saori at times. Laughs can be made and though the two are complete opposites, Miranda gives Saori all of her respect. Though sometimes, she needs to fix her tie just about 17°.

Izanagi 2

Izanagi Kiyoshi (KANJI, ROMAJI) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 7.

Kinzoku

Kinzoku Kusari (金属 鎖, Kinzoku Kusari) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 8. Since day one the two haven't got along. Though Miranda doesn't talk much to Kinzoku but rather shouts, giving him in trouble each time she catches wind of him breaking a rule. For this reason, Kinzoku adopted the name Mirandork for her. Miranda knows of this nickname existing, hearing it often from his mouth but she has yet to say anything to him and instead ignores this. She feels like reacting to such a comment would only cause more problems though sometimes a part of her battles to tell him off since she feels like, too, is an offence.

LeonidPer3

Leonid Petrov (レオニッド ピートロブ, Reoniddo Piitorobu) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 9. Having replaced the former student Ava Rizal after the Sports Festival and met him due to Kiba and his training ideals. This was a rather unexpected counter that Miranda expected nothing more but during it Leo saw Miranda at her lowest point in her life. It is for this reason Miranda feels unsure about Leo as he has seen things that she would rather no one saw, never mind a stranger.

AkiraProf

Akira Wareashi (割れ足・あきら, Wareashi Akira) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 10.

Newzenji

Zenji Kaisei (回生 全治, Kaisei Zenji) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 11.

Joho

Joho Gijutsu (情報 技術, Gijutsu Jōhō) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 12.

KatoP

Ryuji Adachi (リュージ・アダチ, Ryūji Adachi) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 13.

JikanMug1

Jikan Yameru (時間 止める, Yameru Jikan) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 14. Having replaced the former student, Katsuro Kairi after the Sports Festival, Miranda felt uneasy about Jikan. She knew she shouldn't feel this way seeing as Zenji had also transferred into the class and transfers had become quite normal in this class. Maybe this uneasy feeling was because Katsuro and Miranda sat at the same table. Either way, Miranda is not sure what to make of Jikan at this time.

ReiPeacePose

Rei English (レイイングリッシュ, Rei Ingurisshu) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 15.

Isabella School

Isabella Flynn (KANJI, ROMAJI) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 16. Miranda views Isabella to be one of the kindest girls in her class. Miranda enjoys Isabella's company, however short it usually is, and enjoys talking to her when in class (when the teacher gives permission of course). Miranda does worry about Isabella sometimes because she is rather quiet, but she has noticed that Isabella has come out her shell this year and became a lot more confident going as far as cheering Miranda up when she was nervous for her quirk appraisal. Miranda appreciates this kind act greatly and feels like she owes Isabella for it.

Mickey-Tutone

Mickey Tutone (KANJI, ROMAJI) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 17.

AikoPP01

Aiko Kowareta (アイコ コーエレタ, Aiko Kooereta) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 18. Miranda, like most people in her class, spoke very little in their first year but during the second year, Aiko became vice-president of the class. This forced the two to speak and to make things more apparent she was teamed up during the first hero event of their second year. Teamed as villains against Ava and Izanagi, Miranda was surprised to see the strength, brains and talent Aiko possessed during the trial. The two worked well together but in the end, it was a tie. Miranda wishes to get to know Aiko from now on but Midori is always by her side and that worries Miranda. Trying to stay away from Midori while trying to get closer to Aiko was a task, even she, is finding impossible.

MidoriNewPP01
Midori Crane (ミドリ クレーン, Midori Kureen) is a fellow student in Class 2-A and is Student Number 20. Miranda does not view Midori highly. Though she is a kind person Miranda always feels like Midori never really cares about school or her studies. For this reason, Miranda doesn't like her company feeling like she is a bit of a mess and a rebel for ignoring school rules often or not. She does, however, respect Midori like any student in her class knowing that Midori has a reason to be in U.A. or she wouldn't be here.

MirandaBestFriend

Hibiki Reona (KANJI, ROMAJI) was Miranda's best friend before joining U.A. High. The two first became friends since they were the only two in school who didn't have an interest in becoming a hero but as the years went on, Miranda did grew an interest in the hero life. Unable to lie to her friend she proposed her idea but on doing so lost her only friend. The two were often seen singing, dancing and eating together, trying out all kinds of things in hope to find a job that would suit them. It was because of their foodie personality that inspired Hibiki to try and become a baker.

Hibiki was the Ying to Miranda's Yang. The two were perfect for each other and Hibiki injected the fun in Miranda. It's this fun that now hides dominate in Miranda as she forgets herself a little as she engrosses herself more and more with her studies each day. Hibiki sometimes bakes blue cakes as a way to remember her while Miranda can be seen eating strawberry parfait when times are hard. Blue is the hair colour of Miranda and the parfait being Hibiki's favourite food. It is clear the two miss each other a lot but they both feel even if they became friends again, it wouldn't be the same.

KibaKonInfobox

Kiba Megane (眼鏡牙, Megane Kiba) is Miranda's trainer. Saying that Miranda enjoys Kiba's training would be a lie just as much as saying she enjoys his company. So far Miranda has had the worst days of her life under the training of Kiba and she doesn't expect it to lighten up anytime soon.

Ichigo

Katsuro Kairi (カつろ カいり, Kairi Katsuro) was a fellow student in Class 2-A and was formerly Student Number 14 until Jikan Yameru replaced him.
