- Kenjutsu-koryū - Akio is the sole-surviving practitioner of an unnamed ko-ryū of kenjutsu. As the one-and-only practitioner of the ko-ryū, he is the grandmaster of the ko-ryū. However, he exhibits naught but an advance level of skill in the ko-ryū rather than a masterful level of skill in the ko-ryū. As such, though he may be capable of performing and knowledgeable of all the ko-ryū's techniques, he is not yet able to use the ko-ryū's full power.

- Dreamwalker (Romaji: Dorimuoka; Kana: ドリームオーカー) - Is an Emitter-type quirk which allows Akio to awaken and sleep at-will, experience his dreams with the same amount of consciousness and sensation that he experiences reality itself with, exhibit complete and utter control over his dreams, and observe reality while he is asleep by discharging his oneiric body from his dream and into reality as a sort of astral projection.
