Shadows (影, Kage) is an emitter quirk that is used by Kirei Akiyama.
Information[]
Kirei can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. By itself, darkness is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness, but by accessing a dimension of dark energy it can be channeled to a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: one can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows, etc.
Limitations[]
- Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of Kirei, and her power's natural limits.
- Any sort of light related quirk is effective against this quirk.
- Kirei may become affected/corrupted through extended exposure of this quirk, which is where she has to be careful through this quirk's usage. If used for long periods of time, without restrain, the shadow will consume the body of the user, appearing as a dark shadow overhead, and will thus control the user's body, to some extent. Kirei's shadow appears as a deep, dark and terrible being which will kill and slaughter without so much as remorse. It turns Kirei's sclera to a black color, and her pupils become darker and slitted. On some occasions, this does not happen with her body transforming, but the shadow's personality will still appear.
